Eligibility Criteria
You must have an active or pending administrative decision issued by the Turkish authorities that allows you to remain legally in Türkiye. You must have entered Türkiye legally and must not have exceeded your visa or visa-free stay.
This type of residence is granted only in exceptional or special-case situations determined by the administration.
Currently, Type-G Administrative Residence is being issued to Iraqi Turkmen who can prove their ethnic affiliation through valid documentation.
Required Documents :
The documents listed below are general requirements. Additional documents may be requested depending on your personal situation, nationality, or the decision of the immigration office.

Valid passport (copy of bio-page + entry stamp).

Four biometric photos (ICAO standard).

Proof of legal entry into Türkiye (visa or visa-exemption).

Proof of address (Nüfus, rental contract notarized, or hotel reservation, or utility bill).

Financial proof showing sufficient income for the requested duration.

Tax payment receipts (residence permit card fee + visa fee if applicable).

UETS / PTT Digital Notification Registration.

Copy of any active or pending administrative decision issued by Turkish authorities.

Explanation letter describing the special or exceptional case.

Criminal record certificate from Türkiye / from home country (apostilled + translated).

For Iraqi Turkmen (Type-G applicants):
Documents proving Turkmen ethnic affiliation (association letter, population record, language certificate, or approved community verification).

7 Residence Card Delivery Once approved, your residence permit card is delivered to your registered address by PTT cargo.
